SAM GEORGE
Having trained in both classical and popular music, Sam bridges the gap between the traditional and the contemporary. He is equally comfortable writing an orchestral symphony or an electro floor filler, a prog-rock classic or chart-smashing pop hit and loves to blur the lines between.
Sam has been working professionally as a musician since 2006 when he joined the band Armstrong. He obtained extensive touring experience whilst on the road supporting artists like You Me At Six, The Pigeon Detectives and Elliot Minor. Over this period, he honed his craft as a songwriter and producer, gaining invaluable live and studio experience.
Post Armstrong, he taught at The Brit School where he established and delivered the songwriting course, delivered music production sessions and MD'd multiple shows each year. He had the privilege of tutoring Rex Orange County, black midi and Raye on their paths to success.
Skilled in arrangement, he frequently adapts music for any sized ensemble and can interpret almost any track for any ensemble or style.
He's recently relocated to Cáceres in Spain and built his own state-of-the-art recording studio!
